The Hoffman 2024 parachute list

Parachute places offer the unique opportunity to attend the 7-day residential Hoffman Process at a discounted rate of £2,000. They are ideal for participants who are able to take up last-minute places that would otherwise go unfilled. Unlike a wait list place (which specifies a particular Process date), parachute places could be for any Process in 2024.

We have a limited number of places available on the parachute list at this price. Once we receive your registration, you’ll be taken through the enrolment steps as soon as possible, in order for you to be ready for any last minute places that come up.

Before you apply for a parachute place

Consider whether you would be eligible for a last-minute parachute place. These places are available to people who are robust, keen, not in any active addiction and with no history of childhood trauma (unless this has previously been discussed in therapy). It also needs to be easy for you to make domestic and work arrangements if you are offered a place with only a few days notice.

When you’re ready to register

1. Once you have read this page in full, please first pay a £500 deposit using the button at the top of this page. If you decide to leave the parachute list at any time, we’ll refund your deposit.
2. Complete our parachute enrolment form. This usually takes around half an hour. You will be emailed a link to the enrolment form in the email that acknowledges receipt of your deposit.

What happens next?

After we have received your deposit and enrolment form, you’ll have a call with one of our enrolment team. They will talk you through the practicalities of attending the Process, and lead you through the next steps, including sending you our pre-course work to complete. You won’t be eligible for a parachute place unless we’ve received and approved your completed pre-course work.

How are places offered?

• If a place becomes free on a Process within a week of the start date, and the wait list has already been fulfilled, we will email everyone on the parachute list, letting you all know a place is available.
• If you are able to attend on the dates being offered and would like the place, quickly send us a reply and let us know.
• A place will be offered on a first come first served basis and is dependent on you being available for a brief phone call within 12 hours to discuss any updates to your pre-course work and to pay your balance**
• If you don’t respond to us within the timescale, the place will be offered to the next person on the parachute list.

If you’re not sure whether a parachute place is for you, we do offer other payment options to help spread the cost of our standard Processes. These include a six month payment plan, and scholarship bursaries for people who work or serve in specific roles. Please note:

• The £2,000 parachute place is based on an initial £500 deposit and a £1,500 balance, and applies to Process bookings where the place being filled is advertised at £3,800.
• If you choose to request an additional extra night, a special diet or a room that requires an upgrade supplement at any of our venues, those charges will be applied separately and are not included in your parachute booking fee.
• We can’t guarantee when a parachute place will become available. If you have specific Process dates in mind, we suggest you register for a Wait List place instead.
• If you haven’t attended the Process by the end of 2024, you will be refunded your deposit or invited to join the 2025 parachute list. 
• As parachute places are already offering a substantial discount, the Hoffman Essentials £100 discount does not apply in addition to parachute place offers.
