From Loss to Love: 25&26 October 2025: Early Bird £500.00 GBP

Ruth Martin and ShebaLoss is an inevitable experience in every human life – the greater the love, the greater the loss. How we navigate the natural arising of grief shapes our life ahead of us: how we care for ourselves, how we connect to others, and whether we find our way back to our inherent joy of living.

The grief that we experience in life may be the result of bereavement. It may also arise as a response to ‘everyday’ heartbreak: a relationship ending, the loss of a job or status, of youth or health, the loss of freedom that comes with parenthood, the loss of hopes and dreams, the sorrow that may arise seeing all the suffering in the world.

Grief is a journey. It calls on our courage to allow grief to deepen us and our sorrow to transform into compassion.

When we express our grief together with others, a precious intimacy can grow which will help us mourn and heal. Through heartfelt sharing, through reflection and writing, through movement and ritual, we will create a safe and nurturing space to honour our losses and reconnect with our capacity for love and gratitude.

In this workshop, we will explore how to embrace grief not as something to fix or avoid, but as a sacred gateway to connection and wholehearted living.
