The Hoffman Process is a 7-day intensive course, the outcome or success of which is entirely dependent on your full participation. Therefore you accept the rules, conditions and instructions for the duration of the Process, which, for psychological reasons, are an integral part of the course.

Confidentiality Agreement
You understand and agree that the Hoffman Process, including the post-Process weekend, is a private and personal experience for each participant. As such, you agree to respect the confidentiality of all participants and their remarks and actions, and you agree to keep all such information private and confidential.

Client confidentiality, safety and integrity is of utmost importance to us and we require all participants to read and agree to our Terms and Conditions. Confidentiality is kept and breached in accordance with the law. Verbal and written disclosures may be breached in certain circumstances, for example if there is reason to believe that children or vulnerable adults may be at risk of harm or if there is a perceived risk of significant self-harm or suicide.

You also agree to respect the confidentiality, identity and experience of any Hoffman participant worldwide. You undertake not to publish any person’s name in any media without their prior written consent. You accept that photography, video and sound recording are not permitted at the venue during the Process week.

Ground Rules
Drugs and other stimulants like alcohol are prohibited for the duration of the course. Hoffman must be notified of the use of prescribed medication before the course commences.

To benefit from this course, it is essential that you participate in all its stages. Therefore, outside contact is not permitted, unless with prior arrangement. This includes phone calls, texting, internet use, music players, books, magazines, kindles and other hand held devices. You will be asked to hand in your mobile phone(s) and other communication devices upon arrival. A contact number will be given to you to pass onto friends and family, and you will be informed of all calls/messages that we receive.

You are obliged to truthfully declare any and all mental psychiatric or psychological conditions on your enrolment agreement. Any false declaration or claims will relieve the Hoffman Institute of all responsibility.

You accept the basic structure of the 7-day Process offered by Hoffman and acknowledge that there is no reason why participation in the course would be deleterious to you or result in any later harm.

Hoffman offers no guarantee of success with physical, emotional or mental complaints, and while we receive excellent feedback from the vast majority of our students, we do not promise improvement in your general wellbeing. You take on full responsibility for your own participation in the Process and for the results.

Fees and Charges
Prices quoted are inclusive of accommodation, tuition, meals, three follow up support groups, all course materials and VAT – see our Prices page for full details.
Payment Terms
Places on the Process are strictly limited, and while we do operate wait lists, early booking is highly recommended to ensure a Process date which is most suitable for you. On receipt of the deposit payment, applicants will receive an email confirmation of receipt of payment and a link to download an application form. A place on the course can only be guaranteed when the deposit payment is received and the enrolment form has been completed and assessed by the Hoffman office. The balance payment for the Process is due four weeks before the commencement of the course.
Cancellation Policy
The deposit payment is non-refundable unless the Hoffman Institute determines, as a result of assessing your enrolment form, that the course is not suitable for you. In this case, your deposit will be fully refunded.

For online bookings, you have the right to cancel any payment made via World Pay within 7 days of making the booking.

Cancellations must be received in writing by email to: info@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk or to the postal address below, or by email to: info@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk. Our cancellation policy and fees are as follows:

  • Over 2 weeks but less than 12 weeks before commencement of your course: Loss of deposit
  • Two weeks or less before course begins: 100% of course fee payable
  • If you withdraw from the course after the start of the first course session, or if you are dismissed for breaching this agreement or breaking Hoffman rules, no part of the course fee will be refundable.
Policy For Deferral/Changing Course Date
Applicants may transfer to an alternative course, one time only, subject to availability, with written notification and at the discretion of the Hoffman Institute. A fee of £80 is payable for any transfers and you will otherwise be subject to the terms and conditions of our cancellation fees if you do not attend the course as rescheduled.

Within 1 week of start date: If you are suffering from sudden ill health or recent bereavement and cannot participate, you are required to contact the Institute immediately by telephone on (+44)1903 889 990 or by email: info@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk.

Your course fee will be suspended until a suitable alternative date can be allocated. There will be a pro rata charge made for meals and accommodation, unless your place can be filled, which we will make every endeavour to do on your behalf. Exemptions may apply if a medical certificate is provided.

Course Materials
Applicants will be required to sign a Declaration and Consent form acknowledging the proprietary nature of materials, concepts and information used in the Hoffman Process and agreeing not to reproduce, sell, hire or copy course materials (in whole or in part) without written permission from Serena Gordon, Managing Director.

By registering, you will be agreeing to assume full responsibility for their participation in the course, to maintain confidentiality at all times and agreeing to settle by arbitration any disputes that may arise.

Privacy Policy
The Hoffman Institute will hold the details of applicants.  We may also use these details (with your consent) to inform you of further workshops or events in the future, unless you choose to opt out of further contact. We will not under any circumstance pass on your details to any other organisations.  Applicants are requested to notify the company if their contact details change.

Individuals may remove their details at any time by advising us in writing at:
