'Growing up in an atmosphere where children were ‘seen and not heard’ and being at a boy’s school meant I never learned to share my feelings – especially with women. Since the Process, I’m far more open and emotionally articulate.

In my early career, when I worked for Rolls Royce, I was valued for my intellect, but I can see now that my emotional intelligence is just as important, if not more so. I now have a full range of emotional expression and I'm comfortable with being seen to cry.

At school, I'd hidden my feelings and focused on being good at things to win approval. Now I no longer mind what others think of me and I open up about my emotions. I strive less and have more fun.'

Buddhism famously describes peace as ‘an inner state which spreads outward’. The more we reach peace within ourselves, the more we radiate; as our inner harmony grows, it projects itself outward, towards our family, our friends and eventually to society as a whole.

In response to recent world events, supervising Hoffman Facilitator Emma Ferguson has volunteered to lead a very special five days of morning meditation, from Monday 11 through to Friday 15 April.

The intention is that by joining together in focus and community, we each can find – and thereby spread – a little peace in the world, one person at a time. No prior experience is necessary to take part in these sessions, and all are welcome. You can choose to attend as many of the sessions as suits you. There’s no charge to attend.

Dates: Monday 11 – Friday 15 April inclusive (5 sessions)
Time: 6.30am until 6.50am UK
Platform: Zoom
To book: Email registrations@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk and we’ll send you the logins.
All are welcome to join our Introduction to Hoffman Zoom sessions, led by Hoffman Managing Director Serena Gordon (pictured) and members of the UK enrolment team.

These informal intros offer the chance to find out more about the Hoffman principles, the seven-day Hoffman Process, and the other courses that we offer. If you've got any questions about what happens on the Process, The Hoffman Essentials, or our other workshops, you can ask them in person or use Zoom's chat box to remain anonymous.

The calls are weekly, on either a Wednesday afternoon at 4.00pm, or Tuesday evening at 7.30pm (UK).

To register, simply email info@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk and we'll send you full instructions and the Zoom meeting ID.
'Do yourself a favour and do this course! The content is gold dust, the facilitators generous, attendees sincere, and it is all so well organised. You will thank yourself.'

The Hoffman Essentials is an online weekend workshop led by two members of the Hoffman team. It provides a practical introduction to Hoffman tools and techniques that you can take away and use from day one. Numbers are limited to 16 participants to provide a small and safe environment, and a follow-up Zoom call is included in the price.

All participants on The Hoffman Essentials will receive a £100 discount voucher towards a Hoffman Process booking, and access to a dedicated post-Essentials resource section of our website.
