Sometimes when life hands you lemons you need more than a great lemonade recipe; you need faith, love, support and a real determination to keep going.

With the recent storms and floods in the UK communities have had to pull together as never before and we've all appreciated the importance of the emergency services and environmental response teams working round the clock to restore power and travel links.

This issue we've interviewed the three Directors of Raasay House, a former Scottish clan house whose granite walls now accommodate a stunning outdoor centre on the Isle of Raasay. Over the past decade, since the islanders bought the house, the community have faced astonishing adversity including a devastating fire. One by one the directors came to the Process and found the strength to keep working towards their vision. Read more below.

If you'd like to equip yourself with some emergency response tools you can find out more about the Process by joining our Information Evening in Amsterdam on Friday March 28th or our Introduction Day on Saturday May 10th or our Phone-In on Tuesday March 25th. You'll be able to speak to people who have done the course as well as Hoffman teachers who will be glad to answer your questions. You can also book on our spring Relationship Workshops for individuals and couples.

If you're a graduate please join our support call on Wednesday March 19th to Unleash Your Creativity.

Wishing you a strong community

New Beginnings - Rising From the Ashes

Raasay House Fire The imposing granite walls of Raasay House stand on the stunningly beautiful Isle of Raasay near Skye, off the west coast of Scotland. Historically the seat of the Macleod clan, the original house was burned down in 1746 only a year after it was built in retribution for the Macleod's aiding the Jacobite rebellion in support of Bonnie Prince Charlie.

More recently the house has relived its dramatic past in another conflagration but, despite tremendous setbacks, the current guardians have fulfilled their promise that it would once more rise from the ashes. It's a story of extraordinary tenacity, love and courage and over the past decade each of them came to the Hoffman Process for inspiration.

Lyn:  'Since we've all done the Process, we gently and slowly give each other space. I feel we planted something at Florence House, where we did the course, which is flourishing now at Raasay. I consistently recommend the Process because I think it's such a huge kick-start.'        Read this interview...   or    Read other archived articles

How to Survive Being a Teenager - Tuesday April 8th                                                 Back to Top

Being a teenager can be a very confusing and challenging time. One moment they can feel on top of the world and the next it's all doom and gloom and "No one understands me!" Let's face it; we've all been there!

To support teenagers in this phase of their lives, Hoffman have designed a 1-day workshop that aims to offer teens a 'toolbox for life', a range of transferable skills that will assist them to navigate the transition into adult life more smoothly. The workshop draws on a range of established teachings including using the Hoffman tools to support them with the challenges this phase of life can bring friends and family.

Q2: 3-day Refresher - April 25th - 27th Ireland                                                            Back to Top

Are you missing the Hoffman connection?

The Q2 allows you to build upon your Process work, providing an opportunity to explore some of the areas that you wish to investigate further. It enables you to focus on a particular relationship or challenge as well as deepening your Process experience. Unlike the Process, where you have so much to deal with, the Q2 gives you the gift of focusing on the present and how patterns are affecting you now.

Remember that you can do the Q2 with partners, friends, siblings or Process buddies and the preparatory work can be done in your lunch break! There are a few places left, so book soon if you'd like to join us.
