'One small crack does not mean you're broken, it means that you were put to the test and you didn't fall apart' Linda Poindexter
Sometimes life can feel so challenging that it's hard to step back and see the bigger picture. That's when it's vital to get support and to take a break; to spend time with a different circle of people and focus on something other than your day to day concerns.
For some people challenging times began in early childhood. When you grow up in a difficult emotional atmosphere it can create a pattern of chronic anxiety and depression as an adult. However it doesn't have to continue that way. This month's inspiring story from Hoffman graduate Kelly Buckley shows how she turned her childhood sensitivity and challenges into a gift that she now uses to help others. Story below.
As this month ushers in the summer we hope that you'll join us in letting in the sunshine of the Process. We have an Introduction Day on Saturday 13th July for anyone who'd like to dip their toe in Hoffman waters and we have the Ireland Process in July from the 12th - 19th which this year, offers the chance for single accommodation for anyone who might find sharing a room one challenge too far!
Wishing you a refreshing break

Life without a Safety Net
The eldest of four children, Kelly was born and brought up in Australia. After years of depression as an adult she turned her life around with complementary therapies, then she realised that she wanted to become a therapist herself. As she was poised to leap into a new career, childhood anxieties came back to haunt her, so she enrolled on the Hoffman Process. In her spare time she likes to perform on the trapeze but this was one time that she leapt without a safety net....
'In 2012 I finished a long-distance relationship and I'd wake every day feeling so anxious that it was hard to breathe. I felt sure that this feeling was being triggered by childhood events, so I contacted a friend who had done the Hoffman Process. I knew it was a course that helped you to integrate the past so I decided to enrol. The Hoffman tag line 'When you're serious about change' really resonated with me. I knew I was VERY serious about change - I just didn't know how to start. In one of those moments of amazing synchronicity I was told that my job role was in line for redundancy just before I set off for the course, so I knew that if I didn't make the leap of my own accord I was likely to be pushed! The Process allowed me to...' Read more...

Ireland Process - July 12th - 19th Back to Top |
We're Back in Ireland - July 12th - 19th
The Old Rectory in County Wicklow is the setting for our first Irish Process this year. Set in stunning grounds this peaceful retreat offers wonderful food, including a superb vegetarian option and its group rooms have been recently refurbished. Single rooms are available at this venue and we're also delighted to be able to offer them at our new venue Dunford House in the UK in August and December.
Earlier this year we interviewed Supervising Hoffman Teacher Jeremy Kynaston who co-ordinates the Process in Ireland. He spoke about the experience of doing the Process in Ireland and what he sees as the most common reasons that people come to the course. Read Jeremy's interview More info & book

Q2: 3-day Refresher - October 11th - 13th Back to Top |
Are you missing the Hoffman connection?
The Q2 allows you to build upon your Process work, providing an opportunity to explore some of the areas that you wish to investigate further. It enables you to focus on a particular relationship or challenge as well as deepening your Process experience. Unlike the Process, where you have so much to deal with, the Q2 gives you the gift of focusing on the present and how patterns are affecting you now.
Remember that you can do the Q2 with partners, friends, siblings or Process buddies and the preparatory work can be done in your lunch break! There are a few places left, so book soon if you'd like to join us. More info & book online
