Dear Nikki, | Over the last few weeks the skies above Europe have been unusually quiet with the grounding of so many planes. This silence could be seen as a space to explore new avenues or, rather like the Icelandic volcano, we could find buried feelings demanding our attention, now that they've surfaced.
These old feelings may date back to our early life or times when it simply wasn't convenient for them to be felt, acknowledged or expressed so that they were swept under the rug and became part of our shadow self.
Hoffman Graduate Debbie Ford has worked with shadow issues for many years and has helped many of us integrate these buried parts of ourselves. We'll be hosting an evening with her whilst she's over in the UK this May and we hope you can join us. More on this below.
Wishing you a wonderful month
Dates for 2010 Processes and Information Evenings are on
our calendar page.

Loving your Shadow - Hoffman Interviews Debbie Ford - Free London Event
| Debbie Ford, international author, inspirational speaker and Hoffman Graduate, is over in the UK this month. The Hoffman Process and Debbie's work on integrating our shadow are very complementary and we're really pleased to be offering you the chance to hear Debbie being interviewed about her Shadow work by Hoffman Teacher, Tom Laughton. Debbie helps you journey into your unexamined 'shadow self' - those
aspects of ourselves, good and bad, that we are not normally aware of -
to gain the confidence to break through old patterns and fears. This
journey takes you to a place of radical self-acceptance, giving you the
courage to speak your truth, and go after that which you desire most. We've set up a free informal evening with her at Regents College, Regents Park, London on Thursday 27th May. We'll be starting at 7.30pm and winding up around 9.30pm. You're welcome to arrive from 7pm and, although there is no charge for this event, we do ask you to email your booking to:
suzy@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk so that you can go on the attendance list. Only those on the list will be admitted.
''The freedom that Hoffman gives through this work and the attention that it gives to the dark side is crucial. The Process had a profound impact on my life. So if you haven't yet done the Process, take the step. It's such an amazing experience." Debbie Ford Debbie will also be leading a one-day workshop hosted by Alternatives in Central London on 30th May called Breaking Through the Shadow of Love and Money. The Secret of Intimate Relationships - John Campbell
|
Hoffman Graduate and author John Campbell did the Process in 2000 and he still regards it as an important milestone in a remarkable life which has been full of them. He has six children - four of whom have done the Process. He says the two younger children have 'got it by osmosis'! He believes that his harmonious and openly loving relationship with all his children (not easy with 6!) is due in a great measure to the Process. John has recently brought out a book called ' The Secret of Intimate Relationships' - a wonderfully insightful guide, sharing all that he has learned on his quest to form healthy, close and loving relationships. He and his wife Mary, also a Hoffman Graduate, are now relationship coaches and have an entry on the Hoffman Business listing. 'During the process I was given the opportunity to actually feel and express all the anger, hurt, and deep sadness of my seemingly lost childhood. I was then able to examine, equally carefully, the childhoods of both of my parents and feel the same pain they must have experienced growing up.
After this incredibly tough eight days, I found a place of total acceptance and self-love; forgiveness and compassion for both my parents. This had an amazingly positive effect on my life...' Click on the book cover to order and read reviews

"John Campbell is one of those wonderful people for whom the wisdom and desire to help others comes from a lifetime of living fully, from the heart." Tim Laurence, founder of the Hoffman Institute UK
