Dear Nikki,
|
Welcome to the first newsletter of 2010 - a new decade and a new start.
We've had a lot of snow here in the UK, covering everything with a beautiful blanket of sparkling white. It's interesting to see where those first snowy footsteps go when there's no longer a defined path.
So often we live on autopilot doing what we've always done, responding as we always have. Maybe now is the time to question those old patterns and create new paths in our lives. Positive change doesn't always have to be dramatic or even obvious to others, it's often the inner changes which are the most profound. A new sense of peace or clarity, for example, can affect our decisions and reactions in a way that creates long-term transformation. A small daily alteration of our course can add up to a whole new destination over time.
If, like many of us, you've been slowed down due to the weather, perhaps you could use a moment of that time to write down a vision for your life as you would like it to be this time next year. What steps do you need to take to get there? What support or information is required? Take this time to research and explore your options, so that when the snow melts your path is clear.
If you're a Hoffman Graduate we have lots of events coming up to help you refresh your vision, if you're not, then we'd love to see you at one of our information evenings where we hope you'll be inspired by many other people who also want to change their life for the better.
Wishing you a wonderful New Year!
Dates for 2010 Processes and Information Evenings are on
our calendar page.

How I Beat Depression
|
Our whole life is made up of relationships. The ones we have with others at work and at home and the one we have with ourselves. Often depression can be a sign of repressed anger with those closest to us or with situations in which we feel powerless. The Hoffman Process encourages us to recognise and release this, enabling us to become softer and more open with others and with ourselves. Anne Marie Scanlon had suffered for years with depression, which would arrive out of the blue. Finally she plucked up her courage and decided to do the Process.... 'By the time I left.... I was much happier and far more confident. I've always had issues with procrastination, which I now realise were totally fear-based. The aim of the Process is not blame. You don't leave with a list of grievances against your parents, rather an understanding of them and a compassion for them. I now have a better relationship with my son and my mother. I see them both as individuals rather than just as my son and my mother. My relationships with others have changed too, as I now allow myself to be compassionate and caring. In the past i had a deep-seated fear of rejection that made me keep an emotional distance from others.' Hoffman Graduate, Anne Marie Scanlon. Frequently Asked Questions about the
Support Call
Do I have to talk? This and other common
questions are covered in our
support call factsheet.
"I have found the support calls so helpful in staying connected with my Process. The ones on relationships have helped me to understand the games I play - that I wasn't even aware of. I've been able to feel patterns coming up in many of my relationships post process - but the drama triangle discussed last time, has helped me see more clearly what's going on." Lorna
Booking is Essential - You'll be sent the number to call and the PIN once you book.
Click to find out more and to book on this call and future calls
2010 Calls - As a result of their popularity, support calls in 2010 will run from 7pm-8.15pm to allow more individual interaction and cost £18.50 per call.

Gaye Donaldson and Hoffman Teacher Matthew Pruen are offering two and one day workshops for Hoffman Graduates in Central London. Family constellations can enhance and deepen your perspective and vision of your family patterns through many generations. Dates offered include: - February 26/27
- April 9
- June 11/12
Booking and enquiries are via email to:
matthew@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk and you can click here for more information 'I am delighted that Matthew Pruen and Gaye Donaldson are able to offer Hoffman graduates a chance to work with Constellations next year. My own experience of this work, both personally and with on-going Hoffman Institute affairs, has been powerfully affecting and impressive. This work has helped us diagnose vital, underlying issues that have held back our growth and shed light on healing possibilities that had previously remained obscure.
