"A new year is unfolding - like a blossom with petals curled tightly, concealing the beauty within."
Anon

Unlike many of us, losing weight is one New Year's resolution that Hoffman Graduate Emma Carlton won't be making. After years battling with overeating and sometimes losing a substantial amount, only to put it back on, Emma did the Hoffman Process in September 2005. Both during her Process and in the months following Emma realised how much of the weight was due to suppressed childhood anger.

As she did the Process follow-on work in communicating understanding and compassion, first with her mother in December that year, then in May 2006 with her father whom she hadn't seen for 14 years, she felt more and more prepared to let go of her physical baggage.

Emma felt her catalyst for healthy eating began at Florence House where she did her Process.... Click to read more of her Process story.

Emma is at the Jersey Information Evening this Thursday January 8th and you can email her here

Information Evening, Friday January 16th, Moscow

Our Hoffman UK founder Tim Laurence is visiting Russia this month, where we're thrilled to be holding our first Russian Process from April 30th-May 7th.

On January 16th Tim will be at the Open World Association building in Moscow answering questions and talking about the Process, so please come along if you're interested in knowing more. He'd also love to see Hoffman Graduates, so if you've done the Process this is a great chance for you to share your experiences with others and to bring friends and family.

We'd like to welcome Martina Breen as our dynamic new Hoffman Ireland Coordinator. Having done the Process back in 1999, Martina never lost her enthusiasm for the work. Now she's in the final months of her psychotherapy qualification, giving her time for this new role.

She says that: "Jeremy's departure has left big boots to fill here in Ireland but I'm looking forward to bringing the benefits of the Process to more people in the years to come"

Next Irish Process - February 13th-20th, County Wicklow
Interested? Just call Martina on: +353 (0) 1 820 44 22 or email: hoffman@hoffmanireland.com

We're delighted to welcome another new member to the UK Teaching Team. Gabi Krueger (in the centre of the photo) qualified last month. Asked how she felt, she said:

"Hoffman training provided a rare chance to see how far I'd come in my self-development and desire to be of service; a real reality check. During training I revisited many fears and limiting beliefs, yet there was always a light pointing the way.

I'm thrilled and excited about qualifying and looking forward to working with a team of highly professional people who have shown such generous, loving support during my training. A very special "thank you" to Esme for her outstanding guidance, wisdom, love and patience."
