Dear Nikki,
|
These days we're far more aware of the need to take responsibility for our health and many of us started this year with intentions to take more exercise, change our diet and even do some kind of physical detox.
We also see more and more links being made between our emotional and physical
health. As the saying goes: 'what the mind
represses, the body expresses.' So if you've been implementing those kind of physical changes, now could be a good time to do the same kind of overhaul of your emotional 'diet'. Are your thoughts and feelings healthy or toxic? Do you have techniques in place where you can regularly exercise positive emotional responses and thoughts which bring you a feeling of physical wellbeing?
If you haven't done the Hoffman Process, you'll find that it offers what nutrition expert Patrick Holford has called 'the equivalent of a psychological detox'. There's more on the link between emotional and physical wellbeing is his most recent bestseller The 10 Secrets of 100% Healthy People which includes a chapter by Hoffman UK founder and director Tim Laurence.
If you're a Hoffman Graduate and you feel like brushing up your emotional exercise regime there's plenty on offer in the next few months in the UK and Ireland: Reconnecton Days, Constellation Workshops and Sibling Workshops - many in some lovely new venues.
Another way that we can help our physical and emotional health is by enjoying beautiful music, so we hope that you find an opportunity to catch US Hoffman Graduate Beth Nilesen Chapman in concert this month across the UK promoting her new album - Back to Love.
Wishing you a 100% healthy month!
Dates for 2010 Processes and Information Evenings are on
our calendar page.

Back to Love
|
Hoffman Graduate and Nashville singer-songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman has just released her first new mainstream album in six years, Back To Love. Her tour dates cover the length and breadth of the UK so do take a look and see if she's appearing near you. Her songs, which have been covered by artists such as Elton John and Emmylou Harris, draw on her own life experiences to tell deeply touching stories. One of her best-known songs 'Sand & Water' was written after her husband Ernest's death from cancer in 1994, after which a friend recommended that she did the Hoffman Process. 'I had no idea of the extent that (the Process) would change my life and in ways that I didn't even know about.' Beth Nielsen Chapman
In a past interview with Hoffman USA Beth talks about how the Process has allowed her to tap into her creativity more deeply as well as how it has affected her as a mother to an adolescent son: ' When I did the Process, (my son) was about 15 years old. I had no idea that some of the things I was doing were affecting him in a negative way..... After about three weeks back at home, he said, "I don't know what you did but that was really good. You really listen to me now."' |

Phone-In February 15th - NEW Sibling Relationship Workshop
|
Sibling struggles - Florence House, East Sussex April 9-11th Untangle your family history and claim your rightful place in the world
In the
Hoffman Process we concentrate on our parents' influence. This
exciting new workshop led by Hoffman Teachers Eliza Meredith and Tom Laughton allows you to take a step further into your family, to understand the enormous
impact that your siblings have also had on your life. There are power struggles, jealousies, injustices, bullying and even abuse
between siblings in childhood. All this can
affect how we feel about ourselves, limit our identity and set templates for
how we relate to others. Free Sibling Relationship Phone-In - Monday February 15th 7.30-8.30 pmThis event is preceded by a free evening phone-in where we'll be looking at techniques to help you deal
with the legacy of behaviours and beliefs that you were left with.
It's also an introduction to the weekend workshop on the 9-11 April and we'll be answering any questions you have about it. If you grew up with siblings, and
want to know how it has affected you, then please join us on the call.

Gaye Donaldson and Hoffman Teacher Matthew Pruen are offering two and one day workshops for Hoffman Graduates in Central London. Family constellations can enhance and deepen your perspective and vision of your family patterns through many generations. Dates offered include: - February 26/27
- April 9
- June 11/12
Booking and enquiries are via email to:
matthew@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk and you can click here for more information 'I am delighted that Matthew Pruen and Gaye Donaldson are able to offer Hoffman graduates a chance to work with Constellations next year. My own experience of this work, both personally and with on-going Hoffman Institute affairs, has been powerfully affecting and impressive. This work has helped us diagnose vital, underlying issues that have held back our growth and shed light on healing possibilities that had previously remained obscure. I wholeheartedly recommend these workshops to any Hofman graduate wanting to deepen their Process experience and look forward to working with them again next year.' Serena Laurence

Frequently Asked Questions about the
Support Call
Do I have to talk? This and other common
questions are covered in our
support call factsheet.
"I have found the support calls so helpful in staying connected with my Process. The ones on relationships have helped me to understand the games I play - that I wasn't even aware of. I've been able to feel patterns coming up in many of my relationships post process - but the drama triangle discussed last time, has helped me see more clearly what's going on." Lorna
Booking is Essential - You'll be sent the number to call and the PIN once you book.
